Central Heating Boiler Information

The Central Heating boiler is a two plate system the central heating plates are a sealed unit.

The hot water is on demand you only pay for what you use. You will not need a hot water cylinder. This will lower your electricity bills considerably and give you more storage space in your home.

When the central heating comes on every radiator will be hot within 5 minutes your whole property will reach the required temperatures within 15 minutes and then the heating will turn off.

Most boilers turn back on every 10 minutes this one doesn't it only comes back on when the property or a room looses 5 degrees which with double glazing should take about 40 minutes, this means you will be using far less gas than a conventional system.It can also runs on LPG.


System

Central Heating System Information



The Central Heating system is a two pipe system which means every radiator gets a hot feed in and a separate cold feed back to the boiler. This allows you to turn any radiator off and set all radiators at different temperatures.

The boiler normally turns on and heats the radiators approximately every 40 minutes when the house looses 5 degrees, if the temperature in any room drops quicker for any reason the thermostate on the radiator will open, this will lower the preasure on the boiler which will then turn the bolier on sending hot water to the open radiator the rest will not heat up untill it is nessersary.

Each radiator has a Thermostat which actually saves money.

The radiators we use have fins on the back this cuts down heat loss into the walls and will save you even more money.

The Electric Central Heating system we can offer you works the same way as the Gas system. With an Electric boiler and water filled radiators.

You have an immersion tank for your hot water.

A Combination boiler does the hot water as well this system also have normal water filled radiators. Both systems have thermostats on each of the radiators.
